Pink is the new Blue. Make Blue Monday Pink Monday
Did you know that the third Monday in January is known as the most depressing day of the year? The day when good intentions already seem to fail and holidays are very far away. But this year, we won't give those Monday blues a chance and will make it a PINK MONDAY with Absolute Jobs!
In doing so, we are supporting the initiative of Pink Ribbon vzw, in the fight against breast cancer.
Pink is the new Blue
On 16 January 2023, we will change Blue Monday into Pink Monday. A day on which we feel hopeful and which will be entirely dedicated to prevention, detection of breast cancer and support for (former) patients. By doing so, we want to motivate our colleagues to come to work with a smile and make it an instructive day.
1 in 9 women will be affected by breast cancer during their lifetime. Men can also be affected by the disease. The patient's family, friends and colleagues are also affected. In every company, sooner or later, one or more colleagues will come into contact with breast cancer. We support Pink Ribbon's action and want to make breast cancer more discussable in our workplace. By turning Blue Monday into Pink Monday, a day of hope, we want all those affected to know that they are not alone, because we are fighting breast cancer together.
Touch of pink
Today, in honour of PINK MONDAY, we at Absolute Jobs, together with the team, wear a rosy accessory or garment and look at the day through pink glasses. With the pink touch, we want to give (former) patients a heart to heart. Returning during or after breast cancer is not something you do alone, we are there for each other.
